Y4/5 Adopt a primate living at Rainfer

You may remember the delicous treats sold by Maxwell’s Sweet Treats Ltd. during the final weeks of school. The children spent the final lessons of the year balancing their books and were suprised to see that they had made €120.58 profit. The Year 4 and 5 children wanted to use a portion of their profits to do some good and their trip to Rainfer last year quickly came to mind for the children.

After careful deliberation, the children choose to adopt Sammy, whose story touched them deeply. I am delighted to share the details we have recieved from Rainfer about Sammy below.

In September or October, we will return to visit Sammy and the other primates living at Rainfer. Next year, each class will work on raising money to enable them to adopt other primates living at the center also.
